Contains histories of businesses, public schools, civil defense, libraries, museums, radio stations, clubs, religious organizations, and governmental and community agencies in Hamilton County, civil defense in Clermont County and businesses in Dayton, Ohio relating to their participation in the World War II. Some histories also cover earlier periods. Collection includes the commission's administrative correspondence and research material. It also contains WE DID, a history of the 174th Field Artillery Battalion, by Harry P. Snyder.
